15th Southeast Asia Astronomy Network (SEAAN)
Meeting


We are delighted to announce that the 15th Southeast Asia Astronomy Network (SEAAN) Meeting will be held in Bandung, Indonesia, from 13 to 15 October 2025. The SEAAN Meeting is a regional platform to share the latest advancements in astronomy and astrophysics, foster collaborations, and strengthen the Southeast Asian astronomical community. We warmly invite you to participate in this dynamic gathering of minds and ideas.

Hosted at the Center for Research and Community Services (CRCS) Building, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), this event brings together professional and early-career astronomers, researchers, educators, and students from Southeast Asia and beyond.

This meeting will be held in a hybrid format: online access is limited to participants outside Indonesia, while those based in Indonesia are expected to attend in person.

Registration & Abstract Submission

[IMPORTANT] To submit an abstract, you must create an account first. Then you can submit your abstracts by logging in to your account. The whole submission process is done fully online (NOT by email) to guarantee smooth administration. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) can be downloaded directly from your account once your abstract is accepted to be presented at the conference.

Payment of Registration Fees

[IMPORTANT] After making the payment, you MUST upload the payment proof through your account (NOT Email). you can upload by logging in to the online system. Payment receipt can be downloaded directly from your account once your payment is confirmed by the committee.

Registration Fees

  1. Presenter (on site): IDR 1,250,000 (USD 80)
  2. Presenter (online): USD 50
    This type of participants are limited to those outside Indonesia.
  3. Sit-in Participant/non-presenter (on site): IDR 750,000

Publication Fees

  1. SEAAN Proceedings with ISBN: Free of charge.
  2. Scopus-Indexed Proceedings: To Be Announced (TBA)

The registration fees apply to participants who wish to attend the SEAAN Meeting, whether or not they intend to publish their articles. For participants interested in publishing their articles in Scopus-Indexed Proceedings, the fee will be announced later.

July 1, 2025: Abstract submission opens

July 31, 2025: Abstract submission deadline

August 15, 2025: Abstract decision notification

August 15, 2025: Registration opens

September 15, 2025: Registration deadline

October 13–15, 2025: Conference dates

The registration fee applies to participants who wish to attend the SEAAN Meeting and present their articles. This fee covers the publication cost in the SEAAN Proceedings, which includes an ISBN. For participants interested in publishing their articles in Scopus-Indexed Proceedings, the fee will be announced later.
