National Accreditation
All Astronomy study programmes at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Teknologi Bandung, have been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi, BAN-PT) or Independent Accreditation Institution for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains dan Ilmu Formal, LAMSAMA). Both are the official national accreditation agencies in Indonesia.

International Accreditation
In addition to national recognition, the Undergraduate Program in Astronomy has also earned international accreditation from ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik), a well-respected accreditation agency based in Germany. It reflects the program’s compliance with international standards in science and mathematics education. The ASIIN accreditation highlights ITB’s commitment to delivering globally competitive academic programs in astronomy. This certification was valid from March 16, 2021 to September 30, 2027.
