Course planning for each semester is facilitated through Academic Advisory Activities, which involve face-to-face interactions between students and their assigned academic advisors. These sessions are intended to develop an effective course-taking strategy aligned with the curriculum, while considering each student’s capabilities and academic performance.

The Undergraduate Program in Astronomy, in collaboration with Bosscha Observatory, organizes annual training programs to develop students’ soft skills. These programs include:
Additionally, in partnership with the Indonesian Astronomy Olympiad Committee, the program conducts telescope training sessions to select students who will serve as technical team members in training high school participants for the national astronomy olympiad.
Senior students are also given the opportunity to participate in national hilal (crescent moon) observations.
